say hello to our latest non-alc appetizer pairing: prosciutto-wrapped guava + manchego bites, a delectable snack guaranteed to satisfy your poolside cravings. pair them with strawberry guava hiyo to stay hydrated in the summer heat.
INGREDIENTS:
- 12-pack of strawberry guava hiyo
- 12 thin slices of prosciutto
- 12 oz. of manchego cheese
- 12 oz. of guava paste for
- serving: toothpicks
- for garnish: fresh mint leaves
DIRECTIONS:
- combine 1 oz. guava paste with a 1 oz. slice of manchego. wrap a slice of prosciutto snugly around the guava + cheese, securing with a toothpick.
- optional: place the bites on a baking sheet and warm in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 4–5 minutes, just until the cheese melts and the prosciutto crisps slightly.
- garnish bites with mint leaf. serve warm or at room temperature, alongside a chilled can of strawberry guava hiyo.
