george here, one of the founders of hiyo back with the fourth installment of to//from, a monthly letter from me to you keeping you up to date on the latest happenings in hiyo-land.
i don’t want these installments to feel like i’m just bragging about all the awesome things that are happening here at hiyo, but honestly, we’ve been on a bit of a hot streak.

a golden hour get-together
we threw a welcome-to-the-world party for our new flavor: pineapple coconut. ideated initially as an industry event, it ended up feeling more like a float fam gathering of excitement and good vibes, featuring a 4-hour dj set from our customer service manager, noah, as well as special prize handouts and delicious, hand-crafted mocktails.
costco goes sober-surious
this one is a big one. while it’s only 20 of their 600+ locations across the united states, it was a very special feeling seeing hiyo make its entrance into costco’s warehouses.
costco was always my great white whale and it holds a dear place in my family’s heart. my dad worked for them for35 years, my older sister currently works there, and it was apparently the first outing that my mom took me to as a six-week-old baby. as a new father, this idea makes me a little unsettled considering how many people there are, but it certainly proves how deep our costco ties run.
while we have had other national launches and large partnerships, costco has always been my dream. even if it’s only a handful of stores (for now!), i’m so dang proud of this hiyo team for building a brand worthy of costco in just four years.
